THE 2014 TRIPLE PLAY PUZZLES PUZZLE EXTRAVAGANZA! The theme is ... wait, you don't really think I'm going to TELL you, do you? What I will tell you: there will be 12 puzzles plus a metapuzzle. It will be released on August 1, and solutions will be due August 31. Two correct solutions chosen at random will win $100 each. The three oversized bonus puzzles (unrelated to the extravaganza itself) will once again be a 21x21 themeless crossword, a 25x25 cryptic crossword, and a 21x21 Something Different crossword. If you want one or more of the bonus puzzles, be sure to select your choice in the options menu. Price: $10 for the extravaganza, $15 for the extravaganza plus your choice of one bonus puzzle, or $20 for the extravaganza and all three bonus puzzles. (After the contest ends, these puzzles will cost $5 more.) |
