2012 TRIPLE PLAY PUZZLES EXTRAVAGANZA: "REMOTE POSSIBILITIES" This extravaganza consists of 12 word- and/or image-based puzzles whose answers are combined to form a final "metapuzzle": a trivia question whose answer is the final solution to the extravaganza. The puzzles include twists on such types as crosswords, word searches, photo identification, trivia quizzes, and many more, as well as plenty of totally new puzzle types. The theme of the extravaganza is the 2011-12 TV season, but most of the puzzles do not actually require much knowledge of TV. This extravaganza is appropriate either for solo solving or for solving in a small group. Unlike many similar extravaganzas, most of the puzzles have very explicit directions; the puzzling will come from the puzzles themselves, not in figuring out what you have to do. "I am certain everyone participating in this will have the same awesome experience as I did" ... "Hope this contest is the first of many" ... "One of the best puzzle suites I've ever solved!"
