First published in 2002, Trip Payne's Crosswords to Strain Your Brain contains 72 original puzzles of three different types. 24 of them are standard, medium-difficulty themed puzzles. 24 of them are "brainbusters": very difficult themeless puzzles. The remaining 24 are "identical twins" in which there are two grids to be filled in using two different sets of clues, but the solver must determine for each clue number which answer goes in which grid.
Bonus piece of trivia: the original suggested title for this book was "Triple Play Puzzles".
